In the additional Terms section you can put any other details we have discussed about buying your puppy. 1) The Buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and responsible care. This includes keeping this puppy/dog parasite free and up to date with vaccinations, proper nutrition, which consists of a good quality professional feed given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times. The Buyer promises to provide a safe environment for the dog, and never allow the dog to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision. The Seller strongly recommends that the puppy/dog be micro-chipped in order to facilitate his return if lost or stolen.
2) The Seller guarantees this puppy/dog to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. A health record of all shots and/or worming will be provided by the Seller. The Buyer agrees to take this dog to a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72hours for a physical examination. Should puppy/dog be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which the Seller is clearly to blame,the dog may, upon a signed written diagnosis from said licensed veterinarian, be returned and a replacement puppy of equal value will be given upon availability within 12 months of original purchase date. The Seller assumes absolutely no responsibility for fees associated with caring for the puppy/dog. Breeder shall not reimburse any veterinary expenses or other expenses incurred by the buyer at any time. Warranty is limited to a replacement puppy of breeders choice, upon the immediate return (within 2 days of vet exam) of the puppy (uninjured and unharmed), its registration papers, and a written veterinarian’s statement that includes the complete diagnosis and tests showing the communicable disease or congenital defect that makes the puppy unfit.
Not covered-- internal or external parasites, hernia, undescended testicles, under or overbite, injury, allergies, heat exhaustion, or hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia is preventable with good care and feeding. Replacement puppy will be one of equal value, as appraised by the seller, as soon as available.
3) If your puppy is diagnosed with a life threatening congenital defect making him/her unsuitable as a pet before 1 year from date of birth, it will be replaced with another puppy. If your puppy is found to have any life threatening genetic defect you must notify us immediately and supply us, within 2 days of diagnosis, with your veterinarian’s written report. We reserve the right to have the diagnosis verified by another veterinarian of our choice and to require the buyer to have specific tests run on the puppy to verify the diagnosis before exchange. The puppy will be replaced with a puppy of equal value as soon as available, after the Puppy and all papers have been returned to the breeder. Warranty is limited to a replacement puppy of breeders choice. Buyer is responsible for all transportation of puppies. Puppy must not be euthanized without prior written approval from the breeder or this guarantee is void. Buyer understands that the following slight defects are not considered life threatening and therefore are not covered--hernias, undescended testicle, under or over bites and patellar luxation. Because luxating patellas and collapsing trachea can be caused by injury, they are not covered after vet’s initial exam.
4) Buyer understands that replacement option is only valid when health problems are life threatening and are attributed solely to a hereditary problem and are not due to accident or injury. In case of death, a necropsy will be required to determine if death is due to a genetic problem in order to have the puppy replaced.
5) Kennel cough and other communicable diseases are not covered after your veterinarian’s initial exam. Failure to follow the veterinarians recommended medical advice and/or treatment will void this warranty. No other guarantees are given.
6) If at any time the Buyer can no longer retain possession of this dog, the Seller is to be notified and given first option of resuming full ownership of dog in order for the Seller to locate this dog a new home. Refunds, if any, will be at the discretion of the Breeder/Seller. The dog will be returned with all AKC papers and medical records. Should any circumstances arise that affect the quality of lifeof the dog, the breeder/seller is to be informed so that they may participate in determining the future of the dog. The Breeder/ Seller reserves the right to approve/prohibit any transfer of this animal to a third party. Under no circumstances will this dog be sold, leased, traded or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter or similar facility.
7) The Buyer agrees to contact the Seller immediately if any questions or concerns arise about the dog, such as housing, diet, or health. The buyer agrees to keep the seller informed of any treatment as it occurs. This provides the Breeder/Seller with an opportunityto follow up on puppies and gives us important feedback and information on the health or our dogs for future generations.
8) If your puppy comes with Registration papers, they will either be provided at time of sale of the puppy or transferred to the Buyer immediately upon receipt from AKC if they are still being processed. It is understood at the time of sale that this is a pet quality dog and it is representative of its breed. Training classes are highly recommended for a happy relationship between the dog and family. The Buyer agrees to register the dog using the kennel name of By Maria.

The preceding paragraphs contain conditions established by the Seller to ensure the well being of the
puppy/dog. The Buyer’s agreements will continue for the duration of the dog’s life and the Seller will have the right to enforce the agreements at the expense of Buyer. Any legal proceeding expenses are the responsibility of the Buyer.

STEP 2: Make sure you have spoken with me about payment terms first and your puppy is still available. Payment for puppies and available adults is due in full before the dog will leave my home. Once a deposit is paid, I will only hold the puppy or dog for a week and if the signed contract is not sent to me detailing our payment arrangements then I will re-list that puppy after one week. (If no person has sent me a signed contract with a deposit payment for the same puppy by the time you do, then that puppy will remain under contract with you.) This may sound confusing, but I need a written agreement showing your intention to purchase a puppy and all the terms we agree upon. With a contract we are both protected as a buyer and a seller. All payments are non-refundable, but are transferable to a different dog or puppy. Price varies with breed, size, coloring, pedigree, and sex.
STEP 3: When your puppy or dog is paid for in full, and all money has cleared, it's time to pick up your puppy! If you do not follow the payment & pick up terms you agreed to, a $5 per day boarding charge will be applied until you can finish paying for your puppy and pick him/her up. If I am shipping your puppy to you shipping expenses must be paid in full ($350-$450) and then I will schedule the vet visit to get the health certificate, and call the airline to reserve a flight. Make sure you are on time to the airport and you bring some cool water for your puppy to drink. Also bring a leash and collar (or harness) so you can take your puppy out to go potty before you drive home. All your information is kept confidential and not given to any third party. Shipping prices subject to change at any time due to increasing shipping and fuel costs. There may be a 5-7 day hold before a puppy or dog is shipped to make sure money clears my bank. Remember all payments are non-refundable but can be transferred to a different puppy or dog. If you pay by check & stop payment, or reverse payment on any other method of payments then legal action will be taken and you will be responsible for all legal fees and the puppy or dog must be returned immediately at your expense.
